IN TANDEM - The Great Fast Bowling Pairs

The received wisdom is that fast bowlers are at their best ‘hunting in pairs’ but this study shows that the truth is slightly more complex.

There are full studies of eleven pairs – three from Australia, three from West Indies, two from South Africa and Pakistan and one English. There are also shorter studies of some of the lesser pairs and an overview of fast bowling from Ernie Jones to Dale Steyn.

Inevitably we come across some of the major talking points of the last 100years – short-pitch bowling, chucking, World Series cricket, ball tampering, the physical threat, the beauty and the beast and many others.

Fully illustrated, we are sure this will be a book for all cricket enthusiasts all over the world.
